Spanish Teachers
Ms. Santana is one of the Spanish teachers here at Elizabeth Learning Center. Her way of teaching is involving more technology into her teaching. Her way of teaching is different than other teachers because she uses apuntes. She also has her students present to get them out their comfort zone. She likes to have her kids do projects to make her class fun. Ms. Santana wanted to be a Spanish teacher because she enjoys teaching her culture and wants others that are also Hispanic to know about their roots. She has been teaching for almost 20 years. She states that the hardest part of learning Spanish is the writing but with practice you can overcome it. She cares for all her students and overall has great passion for what she does.
Ms. Lopez's way of teaching is having open discussions, visuals, and working in groups. She incorporates more advanced content and complex ideas. She wants to encourage students to continue speaking their first language, social -culture and competence. She states she is involved in the community and it reflects in her classroom. She cares for the students. She is well prepared to teach Spanish. She has a Masters degree in Spanish.
Mr. Cardona has been teaching at Elizabeth Learning Center for over 20 years and is an outstanding teacher. He likes to have fun and enjoys his class. He likes for all his students in his class to get to know each other and to get along. He gives a lot of life lectures and presentations. He makes sure he understands his students and helps anyone, everyone. He analyzes the literature and different types of literate novels, plays, short stories and history. He loves his job and cares for all his students.
